Update!

Hi Everyone!

Happy Belated 2026 to friends of PRM, old and new!

First things first. Thanks to all of you who have reached out to us here to see how we're doing after the fires that have plagued Patagonia for the last few weeks. It truly was a close call - very close. Since then, and though we'll forever remain vigilant, we've been busy returning to our daily lives here, which would explain our very belated, but nonetheless heartfelt, Happy New Year!

In truth, we've had fires here once or twice a year for years, each one getting closer and closer. And though we know who is doing it and why, PRM is a music page. So, better to address this matter over at PRC Writings. So, hope to see you over there. What I can say now is how proud we are of the people here where we live. We were told by the "officials" to evacuate, and the response was unanimous - "No way!" In the end, we stayed and the "officials" left. They'll probably be back. But we'll still be here. That's for sure.

In any event, Nati and I are very grateful to all of you for visiting this page, which continues to have vistors in spite of not being all that acitve in the past couple of years. And, again, we're especially grateful to those of you who have reached out to us to see how we're doing, both during and after the fires.

Finally, and as some longtime friends of PRM have reminded us, we have yet to make some hoped for changes and additions to the page, such as adding songs to From The Vault or adding to our Mail Box, as well as adding to There and Backstory and lost Radio Interviews. I've done many interviews over the years, and it was great to do them, to be invited, and to bring some guests with me, etc. Unfortunately, some of those interviews are forever lost. Some weren't but maybe should have been, and others, well, we're trying to dig up so we can share them. At least that's the idea.

So here's to hoping we get to all of that during the year.
